Looking to be the hit of the party? Try serving these simple poppers at your event and become the talk of the town!
Prep (15 minutes):
Cut back straps into cubes (3/4 in x ¾ in x 1.5 in).
Cut bacon slices in half.
Slice jalapenos into several pieces.
Cut onion into small squares.
Slice cream cheese into cubes (about half the size of the venison cubes).
Pour Italian dressing into large bowl.
Lay out toothpicks for easy reaching! Your hands will get slippery J
Directions (30 minutes):
Lay out bacon strips onto large cookie sheet. Place one piece of venison at the end of each piece. Layer cream cheese, jalapeno, and onion on top of each venison cube. Carefully roll bacon slice over layers and secure with toothpick. Let rolls marinate in Italian dressing for several hours.
Use grill or skillet to cook poppers to taste and enjoy!
